There are many types of gas cylinders, different countries have different standards, common are the following: ISO9809-1 standard gas cylinders, ISO9809-3 standard gas cylinders, GB5099 standard gas cylinders, DOT UN9809-1 standard gas cylinders, DOT-3AA standard gas cylinders, EN1964-1 standard gas cylinders, IS7285 standard gas cylinders, Q/JB THB0008 standard gas cylinders, TC-3AAM standard gas cylinders.
ISO9809-1 standard gas cylinders, ISO9809-3 standard gas cylinders
Brief Introduction: The purpose of ISO 9809 is to provide a specification for the gas cylinders design, gas cylinders manufacture, inspection and testing of a seamless steel gas cylinder for worldwide usage. The objective is to balance design and economic efficiency against international acceptance and universal utility.
ISO 9809 aims to eliminate the concern about climate, duplicate inspections and restrictions currently existing because of lack of definitive International Standards and should not be constructed as reflecting on the suitability of the practice of any nation or region.
ISO 9809-3 addresses the general requirement on the gas cylinder design, construction and initial inspection and testing of pressure receptacles of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods: Model Regulations.
It is intended to be used under a variety of regulatory regimes, but is suitable for use with the conformity assessment system in 6.2.2.5 of the above-mentioned Model Regulations.
GB5099 standard gas cylinders
The purpose of GB5099 is to provide a specification for gas cylinder type, gas cylinder parameter, gas cylinder technical requirements, gas cylinder testing, gas cylinder inspections, gas cylinder symbol, gas cylinder painting, gas cylinder package, gas cylinder transportation and storage of seamless steel gas cylinders.
The GB5099 standard is applied to the design and construction of seamless steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0.4 liter to 80 liters and working pressures from 8MPa to 30MPa used to store permanent gaseous gases or high pressure liquid gases. Designed temperatures of seamless steel gas cylinders for normal areas are from -20℃ to 60℃, cold areas from -40℃ to 60℃.
This standard can’t be applied to steel cylinders that store the dissolved gases and absorbed gases, fire extinguisher cylinders, steel cylinders used in transportation and affiliated pressure vessels used in machines.
DOT UN9809-1 standard gas cylinders
The high pressure gas cylinders are fabricated from chromium-molybdenum steel, and are produced in strict compliance with all applicable DOT UN specifications.
For quality control purposes, our factory closely monitors incoming materials for chemistry, grain size, and freedom from laps, seams, cracks, and inclusions.
DOT-3AA standard gas cylinders
According to the Hazardous Materials Regulations in Code of Federal Regulations, DOT-3AA provides the technical requirements for the gas cylinder design, gas cylinder material, gas cylinder manufacture, gas cylinder criteria, gas cylinder inspection, gas cylinder waste, gas cylinder filling, gas cylinder storage and transportation of seamless steel gas cylinders. This standard contains not the duties of government, but also the concrete requirements of the manufacturers and third-party inspection organizations. In this regulation, detailed calculating formulas and concrete technical requirements are also included.
EN1964-1 standard gas cylinders
Brief Introduction: The purpose of this standard is to provide for the gas cylinder design, gas cylinder manufacture, gas cylinder inspection and approval of the refillable, transportable seamless steel gas cylinders. The specifications given are based on knowledge of, and experience with, material, design requirements, manufacturing process and control during manufacture, of gas cylinders in common use in the countries of the CEN members.
IS7285 standard gas cylinders
IS7285 is an Indian standard issued by Indian Government and it provides the technical requirements for the gas cylinder design, gas cylinder material, gas cylinder manufacture, gas cylinder criteria,gas cylinder inspection, gas cylinder waste, gas cylinder filling, gas cylinder storage and transportation of seamless steel gas cylinders.
KGS standard gas cylinders
KGS is issued by Korean Government and it provides the technical requirements for the gas cylinder design, gas cylinder material, gas cylinder manufacture, gas cylinder criteria, gas cylinder inspection, gas cylinder waste, gas cylinder filling, gas cylinder storage and transportation of seamless steel gas cylinders.
Q/JB THB0008 standard gas cylinders
These gas cylinders offer an increased gas content to weight ratio over previous generation 30Cr-Mo gas cylinders. Gas cylinders are manufactured to either ISO 9809-1 or ISO 9809-2 specifications and can be supplied with a Pi mark for use within Europe and the United Nations.
TC-3AAM standard gas cylinders
TC-3AAM is issued by Canadian Government and it provides the technical requirements for the gas cylinder design, gas cylinder material, gas cylinder manufacture, gas cylinder criteria, gas cylinder inspection, gas cylinder waste, gas cylinder filling, gas cylinder storage and transportation of seamless steel gas cylinders.
